We back every piece we sell. If your chain ever has a manufacturing defect, we'll repair or replace it, no questions asked. That's our commitment to you.
Every piece is designed to last a lifetime. The warranty is simply our way of standing behind that.

1. What "Lifetime Warranty" Means
The Lifetime Warranty applies to the original purchaser for the reasonable lifespan of the product under normal use.
"Lifetime" refers to the functional life of the item, not the customer's lifetime. The warranty applies only while the product remains in usable condition and has not been abused, altered or misused in any way.
2. What Is Covered
We cover manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, including clasp failure, broken links, weak solder points and structural failures not caused by wear, misuse or external damage.
Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. Claims submitted without valid proof of purchase will not be processed. If your claim is approved, we will repair the item free of charge or replace it with the same or a similar item at our discretion.
3. What Is NOT Covered
Normal Wear and Tear
Surface scratches, dents, polishing marks, natural tarnishing of silver, and gradual thinning or stretching of chains over time are all expected characteristics of a product worn daily. These are not manufacturing defects and are not covered under this warranty.
Damage from Use or External Factors
The following are explicitly excluded: bent links resulting from force, snagging or misuse, breakage due to pulling or excessive force, chemical damage from chlorine, sweat or cleaning agents, and damage caused by improper storage or care.
Misuse or Modifications
Repairs or alterations carried out by any third party will void this warranty. Resizing or modification of any kind not performed by The Silver Atelier is excluded from cover.
Loss or Theft
Lost or stolen items are not covered under any circumstances.
4. Silver-Specific Clause
Silver is a naturally soft metal. Tarnishing over time, surface scratching and gradual wear with daily use are normal characteristics of 925 sterling silver and are not considered manufacturing defects. These are excluded from the warranty. We have worn silver chains for 18 years. We know what a lifetime of wear looks like. We know the difference between a product that has lived a full life and one that has failed. We will always assess claims with that knowledge and fairness in mind.
5. Intentional Damage
If intentional damage is identified or reasonably suspected upon inspection, The Silver Atelier reserves the right to decline the claim in full. We ask for full transparency in all claim submissions. We are reasonable people, and we will always be fair, but honesty is required in return.
6. Proof of Purchase
A valid proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. We accept your original order number, order confirmation email or bank transaction as proof of purchase. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. Claims submitted by anyone other than the original purchaser will not be honoured.
7. How to Make a Claim
To submit a warranty claim, email info.thesilveratelier@gmail.com with your proof of purchase, a clear description of the issue and photographs of the affected area.
We aim to assess all claims within 5 business days of receiving your submission. We reserve the right to inspect the item in person before final approval is granted.
8. Shipping and Handling
If your claim requires the item to be returned to us, the customer is responsible for shipping costs to The Silver Atelier. We will cover the cost of return shipping once the item has been repaired or replaced. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service. The Silver Atelier cannot be held liable for items lost or damaged in transit to us.
9. Resolution Options
Depending on the nature and severity of the claim, we will offer one of the following resolutions at our discretion: repair of the item, replacement with the same or a similar product of equal value, or store credit. We are not obligated to provide cash refunds under this warranty.
If an item cannot be repaired, we will replace it with the same product or a similar product of equal value. Where an exact replacement is unavailable, store credit to the full value of the original item will be offered.
10. Fair Use
We reserve the right to decline excessive or abusive warranty claims, including repeated breakages resulting from misuse, claims inconsistent with normal wear patterns, and use of the product beyond its intended purpose.
11. Care Responsibility
Customers are responsible for the proper care and maintenance of their silver jewellery. This includes avoiding exposure to harsh chemicals, perfume, chlorine and cleaning agents, storing pieces safely when not in use, and following the care guidelines provided.

12. Changes to Warranty Terms
The Silver Atelier reserves the right to amend these warranty terms at any time. The version of the terms in effect at the time of your original purchase will apply to your claim.
