Are your chains real silver?

Yes. All of our chains are made from solid 925 sterling silver, hallmarked and crafted in Italy.

Will my chain tarnish?

Sterling silver can naturally tarnish over time, especially with exposure to water, sweat, or chemicals. With proper care and regular polishing using our silver cloth, your chain will maintain its brilliance.

How should I store my chain when I’m not wearing it?

Store your chain in the jewellery box you receive with your order to prevent scratches and reduce tarnishing.

What is your shipping policy?

We ship orders Monday to Thursday before 1pm to ensure overnight delivery within 1–2 business days. This schedule helps us avoid packages sitting in warehouses over weekends, where the risk of loss or damage is higher. Every order is securely packaged to guarantee your chain arrives safely and in perfect condition.

What is your return policy?

Returns may be made within 2 business days of receiving your order. The chain must be returned in its original box, in brand new condition.

If the item shows signs of wear, a R300 polishing and replating fee will be applied before the refund or exchange can be made.

Do your chains come with a warranty?

Yes. Every chain from The Silver Atelier is covered by a lifetime warranty. The sterling silver itself is guaranteed for life.

Polishing will naturally fade with time and wear, but this does not affect the integrity of the chain. Regular care and use of our silver polishing cloth will help preserve its lustre.
